I am writing you this letter to request an in-kind donation of toilet tissue for our 2011 Gift Of Giving Food Drive.   Our food drive will help serve over 2.5 million individuals requesting basic needs assistance from The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust for 2011.

On behalf of the board of Directors of The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust and our entire staff, I would like to thank you for this opportunity to submit a request for a refrigerator truck, delivery truck or cargo van to be donated to our organization from your company for community service activities
such as picking up donations from our donors, dropping off food boxes to the seniors and the needy who lack transportation to pick up donations and dropping Christmas toys to economically disadvantage families during the holidays who also lack transportation.

We believe our program fill a vital role in our community and speak to the issues that need to be addressed. We like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve the needy throughout our communities and providing assistance for poverty-stricken individuals residing in distressed communities. We hope that after reading about us you will decide to join us in helping to meet the needs of our communities.

Our organization is requesting an in-kind donation of a refrigerator truck, delivery truck or cargo van to help us to pick up donations in a timely manner and drop off donations as they are requested. Your donation will allow us to be able to pick up and receive donations for our programs, services and activities.

Our Gift Of Giving 2009 through 2012 Toy Drive allow us to receive donations of toys from many donors. Gift Of Giving Food Drive allow us to accept food commodities donated to us from many donors and our Gift Of Giving 2009 through 2012 Coats & Boots Campaign, Gift Of Giving 2009 through 2012
Mothers In Need Campaign and Gift Of Giving New Clothing & New Shoes Drive allows us to accept donations for our programs from many donors, but without the proper vehicle to pick up these donations, many times we are left without the options of not being able to accept the donation, because we do not have a refrigerator truck, or cargo van to pick up the donation. Your donation of a car  cargo van will help eliminate this problem and allow us to accept more donation. Your support will help make our community programs a success.

Our Gift Of Giving Affordable Housing Program is implemented to restore homes and provide affordable housing for low-income families and individuals.  Our program accept donations of building materials, which many donors offers to  us, if we are able to pick up the donations. Without having a refrigerator
truck, delivery truck or cargo van, we often at times misses out on these donations which is needed to help us to continue to grow and be successful in our programs, services and activities. 2011 Gift Of Giving Back To School Supplies Collection Drive

The Gift Of A Helping  Hand Charitable Trust is hosting its 2nd annual Gift Of Giving Back To School
Supplies Drive. 2011 Gift Of Giving Back To School Supplies collection drive is collecting 100,000 school supplies to provide over 50,000 underprivileged youths  with school supplies for back to school.

We need you to help support the 2011 Gift Of Giving Back To School Supplies Collection Drive. Our goal is to collect 100,000 assorted school supplies and distributed them to underprivileged youths residing in low-income daycare centers, head start programs, and after school programs, homeless shelter, foster care agencies, foster care homes, boarding houses, transitional houses, halfway housing, Human Services Agencies, and low-income housing for back to school.

At least 65% of the homeless  population is single mothers with children and 39% of the homeless population is single mother leaving out of domestic violence situations. 48% of the poverty-stricken in Wayne County, Michigan is children. 93% of household in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan lives at or below the poverty-rate.

During the  time frame of the following years, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 our organization will be providing school supplies for over 50,000 economically disadvantaged children and teens for these consecutive years.

The program will provide school supplies low-income children for back to school and for other underprivileged children residing in homeless shelters in southeastern Michigan including Wayne, Macomb, and Monroe and Oakland counties. The program will give low-income daycare centers, head start programs, and after school programs, homeless shelter, foster care agencies, foster care homes, boarding houses, transitional houses, halfway housing, Human Services Agencies, and low-income housing the opportunity to receive school supplies and to distribute to low-income children residing at their facilities throughout the year.

So help us and make a monetary donation and/or in-kind donation of gift cards and/or school supplies to help underprivileged youths and teens to receive school supplies for back to school and throughout the school year. Seventh Annual Cell Phone Drive

Hosts its Seventh Annual Cellular Phone Collection Drive from January 3, 2010

RE:  Shuttle Bus Donation

 

On behalf of the board of Directors of The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust and our entire staff, I would like to thank you for this opportunity to submit a request for a shuttle bus to be donated to our 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization for our aged seniors residing at our Adult Foster Care Homes.

We are in desperate need of shuttle bus to be donated to us so we can transport our seniors to run errands.   The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust will provide transportation for aged seniors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 52 consecutive weeks.  The shuttle bus will be used to transport the age seniors to doctor appointments, shopping, and recreational events and activities.

The Gift Of A Helping Hand Group Home will provide supervision on an ongoing basis but who do not require continuous nursing care.  The provision of supervision, personal care, and protection in addition to room and board, for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 52 consecutive weeks for compensation.

The Gift Of A Helping Hand Group Home will provide permanent homes for aged seniors, ages 60 or older.    We will provide the seniors with the valuable resources, personal assistances, and social support groups to develop social skills and opportunities needed to help them to become self-sufficient,  self-reliant and acquire stable housing, while developing lifelong connection to a caring, supportive family and other or adults.

We believe our program fill a vital role in our community and speak to the issues that need to be addressed. We like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve the needy throughout our communities and providing assistance for aged seniors residing in Adult Foster Care Homes. TGOAHHCT Toy  Fund was implemented to collect monetary donations and in-kind donations of
toys and electronic items to distribute to over 50,000 youths and teen  throughout the year, and during the holiday seasons.

TGOAHHCT Toy  Fund is support underprivileged youths and teen residing in homeless shelter,
foster care agencies, foster care homes, boarding houses, transitional houses,  halfway housing, Human Services Agencies, daycare centers, head start programs,  after school programs and low-income housing.

TGOAHHCT Toy  Fund  collect hundreds of Video Consoles,  Video Games, DVD’s, IPod, iphone, laptop, desktop computers, mp3 players, toys,  dolls, baby furniture, baby toys,  bikes,  motorized bikes, scooters, motorized scooters, mini-bikes, motorcycles, and  Hand Held Video Games to help support the TGOAHHCT Toy Fund. Over 50,000  children under 18 years old will go without a Christmas this year without your
support. So support us in our TGOAHHCT Toy Fund by making a monetary donation  and an in-kind donation of Video Consoles, Video Games, IPod, iphone, laptop,  computer and Hand Held Video Games to our program to serve under privileged  teens and children 12 years and under.

We need you  to help support the 2011 TGOAHHCT Toy Fund.   The TGOAHHCT Toy Fund sponsors The Gift of Giving New Toys for Needy  Children and Teens.  The Gift of Giving  New Toys for Needy Children and Teens is a seasonal project implemented to  provide needy children and teens in the state of Michigan with new toys to be  placed under their Christmas tree during the holidays.

The TGOAHHCT  Toy Fund collects new toys for teens and for children 12 and under annually and
helps support The Gift of Giving New Toys for Needy Children and Teens Program.   The program mission is to give underprivileged and underserved children and  teens the opportunity to receive new toys on Christmas Day, since 93% of  household in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan lives at or below the poverty-rate.
